Error Code F-10-7
Panel display board and main control board have lost communication
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F-10-7 (LED blink pattern on panel)
What This Means
Wiring connector between panel PCB and main PCB loose or disconnected; Panel PCB failure; Main PCB failure; Short or open in communication wire between door and cabinet
What actually causes this:
A door wiring harness connector worked loose, or one of the PCBs has failed — the fridge loses key input/output coordination.
First Thing to Check
Unplug the fridge for 30 seconds and plug it back in to see if communication resets. Then check all connectors at the upper hinge cover.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check display for 'Pc - Er' (panel shows alternating ON/OFF every 0.5 seconds)
- 2
Check display for 'OP - Er' (option error — option register mismatch)
- 3
Verify MAIN PCB connector CN90 #8 to CN90 #4 voltage: should be 4.5V to 1.0V
- 4
Verify MAIN PCB CN30 #6 to CN76 #1: should be 4.5V to 1.0V
- 5
Verify MAIN PCB CN30 #8 to CN76 #1: should be 4.5V to 1.0V
- 6
Check CN76 #4 (Orange) to CN76 #1 (Gray): should be 7V–12V
- 7
Use an oscilloscope (1 GHz) for definitive communication signal analysis
- 8
Check wiring harness between dispenser area, upper hinge panel, and main PCB for disconnection or shorts
