What This Means
Sensor connector slipped out at CN30; Open or short circuit in wire; Failed defrost thermistor
What actually causes this:
Defrost sensor connector loosened or thermistor failed from repeated thermal cycling.
First Thing to Check
Remove the Cool Select Room evaporator cover and check whether the defrost sensor connector is firmly seated.

Check voltage between Main PCB CN30 pins 11 and 13 — should be 4.1V to 0.8V

Measure resistance between CN30 pins 13 and 11 for CV-DEF sensor

Check resistance at CN70 pins 3 and 1 for Cool Select defrost heater
