What actually causes this:

The humidity sensor connector came loose or the sensor itself failed.

First Thing to Check

Locate the humidity sensor connector and reseat it firmly.

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Measure voltage between MAIN PCB CN30 #7 and #9

  2. 2

    Voltage should be within range 4.5V to 1.0V

  3. 3

    Check sensor pin #1-#2 voltage approximately 5V

  4. 4

    Check output voltage on pin #3 approximately 1-4V
