What actually causes this:

The freezer fan isn't spinning or its sensor wire broke, preventing cold air circulation.

First Thing to Check

Check if you can hear the freezer fan running when the compressor is on.

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Measure voltage between MAIN PCB CN75 #1 (GRAY) and #4 (YELLOW)

  2. 2

    Voltage should be 7V-12V

  3. 3

    Check for FG signal (pulse feedback) from motor on CN75 #6

  4. 4

    Listen for motor bearing noise or grinding
