What This Means

What actually causes this:
The freezer defrost heater either won't turn on or won't turn off after the defrost cycle.
First Thing to Check
Use a multimeter to check continuity across the defrost heater terminals.

Separate MAIN PCB CN70 wire from PCB

Read resistance between CN70 Brown and Black connectors
- 3
If 0 Ohm: heater is shorted
- 4
If infinite Ohm: wire or thermal fuse is open
- 5
Measure defrost sensor temperature
