What This Means

Connector Slipped-Out or Open-Contact; Wire Cut or Short-Circuited; Abnormal Sensing Temperature (above +50°C or below -50°C)

What actually causes this:

The fridge defrost sensor is not responding, preventing proper defrost cycles.

First Thing to Check

Check the refrigerator evaporator area for any loose sensor wires.

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Measure voltage between MAIN PCB CN30 #6 and #7

  2. 2

    Voltage should be within range 4.5V to 1.0V

  3. 3

    Check sensor responds during refrigerator defrost cycle
