What This Means

Sensor housing slipped out of connector; Open or shorted wire; Sensor reads temperature out of valid range

What actually causes this:

The sensor that reads the room temperature around the refrigerator has come loose or failed, so the board cannot properly adjust fan speed for room conditions.

First Thing to Check

Check the sensor connector at CN5 pins 7 and 13.

How to Fix

    Access self-diagnostic mode

    Measure voltage at Case Connector CN5 pin #7 to pin #13 — should be between 1.0V and 4.5V
