Error Code C-FAN ERROR
Condenser fan motor is not spinning or not generating feedback signal
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: 2 deg C LED Lamp blinking (electronic); 17 blinks (rotary switch model)
What This Means
Defective C-Fan BLDC motor; Contact error at condenser fan motor connector; Defective motor wire or slipped wire; Fan blade obstructed
What actually causes this:
Condenser fan motor failure or connector issue in the machine compartment
First Thing to Check
Measure DC voltage at CN30 #19 and #17 during forced operation
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Run Forced Operation mode
- 2
Measure voltage between MAIN PCB CN30 pin 19 and pin 17 for standard models - should be DC 7 to 12V
- 3
For RT48A6004** model: measure CN30 pin 17 and pin 15
- 4
If approximately DC 2V is read, fan not rotating
- 5
Check motor wire connections
