What This Means
Ice maker sensor open or short circuit; Ice maker not properly connected to unit; Ice maker function failure (mechanism or motor); Broken ice maker sensor wiring
What actually causes this:
Disconnected or failed ice maker thermistor sensor, or ice maker not properly seated in its housing
First Thing to Check
Measure voltage at CN90 #4 to #3; should be 0.6–4.6V

How to Fix

Check voltage between MAIN PCB CN90 pin 4 and pin 3 (normal: 0.6V to 4.6V)

If voltage is 5V: ice maker is not well-connected; check connection and sensor wire continuity

Check ice maker wire harness connection

Press Ice Maker Test Switch to observe if mechanism rotates
- 5
After replacing ice maker, plug in and verify operation

If sensor defective: replace ice maker kit
- 7
Replace MAIN PCB only if all other checks pass
