What This Means

Water level sensor hose is damaged or punctured; Hose is clogged with foreign material; Hose is folded or kinked; Too much lubricant applied to air hose insertion point; Hose disengaged from sensor; Water level sensor internal soldering fault; Water level sensor terminal disengaged; Main PBA fault; PBA connector terminal not connected

What actually causes this:

The small rubber hose that tells the washer how much water is inside got kinked, cracked, or clogged with gunk.

First Thing to Check

Look behind or underneath the washer for a small rubber tube — make sure it is not kinked, pinched, or disconnected.

How to Fix

    1. Check the water level sensor terminal connections and contacts

  2. 2

    2. Verify the correct water level sensor is installed by checking the material code

  3. 3

    3. Connect the water level sensor and connector, then measure the frequency — should read approximately 25.5 kHz with no load

  4. 4

    4. Check the Pink and Orange color wires for continuity

  5. 5

    5. Inspect the hose connected to the water level sensor for folds, cuts, or damage

  6. 6

    6. If the sensor is faulty, replace it

  7. 7

    7. If error persists after sensor replacement, replace the main PBA
