What This Means
Motor spin net not engaged; Motor internal coil is damaged (short-circuited or cut); Hall sensor terminal not connected; Foreign material (screw) entered the motor; Motor overloaded due to too much laundry; Motor hall sensor terminal not connected; Main PBA fault; Motor driving error from PBA is weak or has unstable relay operation; Erroneous operating signals from the motor hall sensor; IPM terminal of the main PBA not connected; DD motor cover is out of place; PCB housing terminal not connected; DD motor fault
What actually causes this:
Most often, the washer is simply overloaded with too many clothes, preventing the drum from spinning.

Open the door and remove some items — if the drum is packed tight, that is likely the problem.

How to Fix

1. Check the motor connector terminal connections and contacts

2. Unplug the motor connector and measure resistance between any two of the three motor terminals — should be 6.0 ohm at 25 degrees C

3. Check the motor Hall Sensor resistance on the main PCB motor connector between pins 1-3 and pins 1-4 of the four pins — should read approximately 2 to 4 megaohm

4. Check the voltage on the hall sensor when the power is on

5. Verify the motor wire order is Blue, White, Red from the right and resistance between Blue-White, White-Red, Red-Blue is equal to 15 ohm

6. Check whether the stator motor cover is damaged

7. Check for coil disconnections due to foreign material

8. If the hall sensor terminal is faulty, replace the hall sensor
- 9
9. If the PBA control circuit is faulty, replace the PBA
