What This Means
Pump motor impeller is damaged internally; Wrong voltage is supplied to the parts; Drain pump part fault; Freezing in the winter season; Drain hose is clogged (injection error, foreign material); Drain pump clogged with foreign material; Water pump terminal is not connected; Foreign material collected inside the drain pump assembly (rubber bands, bills, cotton, hair pins, coins)
What actually causes this:
Usually a small item like a coin, hair pin, or sock got stuck in the drain pump filter.
First Thing to Check
Open the small access door at the bottom front of the washer, place towels down, and unscrew the drain pump filter to check for debris.

1. Check the drain pump resistance — Drain pump resistance should be 13.5 to 16.5 ohms

2. Check the Bubble pump resistance — Bubble pump resistance should be 18.75 to 22.75 ohms

3. Check whether the drain pump revolutions are restrained by foreign material

4. Check for foreign materials in the drain bellows

5. Check for any leakage on the base, Hose, Valve, and Tub connections

6. Check the wire connectors on Main PCB and Drain Pump ASSY for poor physical connection

7. If drain pump motor does not operate normally, replace the drain pump

8. In winter season, check for freezing and use a hair dryer to defrost; consider relocating the unit to a warmer location
