What This Means

What actually causes this:
The heating element burned out or the temperature sensor went bad

Check if your clothes feel cold after a hot wash cycle — if so, the heater has likely failed

How to Fix

1. Check for connection between wire and heater (TYPE 1 — front access)

2. Check the resistance between heater terminals A and B — should be 16.05 plus or minus 0.65 ohms

3. If wash heater is faulty, replace it

4. If heater tests normal (TYPE 2 — back access), replace the wash-thermistor at the back of the tub
