What This Means
PBA connector terminal is not connected; Motor spin net is not engaged; Motor internal coil is damaged (short-circuited or cut); Hall sensor terminal is not connected; Foreign material (a screw) has entered the motor; Motor overloaded due to too much laundry (non-sensing); Motor hall sensor terminal is not connected; PBA fault or weak motor driving error from PBA; Unstable relay operation; Erroneous operating signals from the motor hall sensor; IPM terminal of the main PBA is not connected; DD motor cover is out of place; PCB housing terminal is not connected; DD motor fault
What actually causes this:

First Thing to Check
Open the washer and remove some items to reduce the load, then restart the cycle
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check the motor connector terminal connections and contacts
- 2
2. Plug out the connector and read resistances at any two of the three terminals on motor
- 3
3. For upper washer motor: resistance should be 10.2 to 12.4 ohms at 25°C
- 4
4. For lower washer motor: resistance should be 7.6 to 8.4 ohms at 25°C
- 5
5. Check whether the stator cover of the motor is damaged
- 6
6. Check for coil disconnections between pins (pins 2 and 4, and 3 and 4 on four-pin connector)
- 7
7. Check for foreign material in the rotor/stator gap
- 8
8. Check the resistance — approximately 2 to 4 megaohms
- 9
9. Check the voltage when the power is on
- 10
10. If the PBA control circuit is faulty, replace the PBA
