What This Means
Signals between the sub and main PBAs are not sensed; Incorrect or loose connector connections between sub and main PBAs; Faulty soldering on the sub PBA control panel; Short-circuited sub PBA due to moisture; Incorrect wire connections between sub and main PBAs; Main PBA communication circuit is faulty
What actually causes this:
A loose ribbon cable or connector between the control panel and main board, sometimes caused by vibration over time.

Unplug the washer for 5 minutes, then plug it back in and try again.
