What This Means

Water level sensor operating without water due to freezing; Temperature sensor at bottom detects 100 to 150°C; Heater fault; Freezing in winter season

What actually causes this:

The water supply froze in winter or a sensor fault caused the heater to run dry

Check that the water supply is flowing — if it is winter, check if the supply hoses are frozen

How to Fix

    1. Check the resistance between the heater terminals A and B — should be 25.19 to 27.84 Ohm

  2. 2

    2. Check the temperature sensor at the bottom for proper operation

  3. 3

    3. Check for frozen water supply lines

  4. 4

    4. If resistance is normal, change the wash-thermistor at the back of the tub
