What This Means

Drain pump impeller is damaged internally; Wrong voltage is supplied to the parts; Part fault; Freezing in the winter season; Drain hose is clogged (injection error, foreign material); Drain pump is clogged with foreign material: rubber bands, coins, cotton, hair pins, etc.; Water pump terminal is not connected; Main PCB fault

What actually causes this:

Something like a coin, hair pin, or small piece of clothing got stuck in the drain pump filter

First Thing to Check

Look for a small access door on the bottom front of the washer — open it, unscrew the drain filter cap, and check for objects stuck inside (have towels ready for water)

How to Fix

    1. Check for any foreign material in the drain pump filter — remove rubber bands, coins, hair pins, etc.

    2. Check the drain pump resistance: approximately 6.3 ohms between the terminals

    3. Check the drain hose for kinks, clogs, or improper installation

  4. 4

    4. Check whether connections are correct and if there are any wires disconnected

  5. 5

    5. If frozen, use a hair dryer to defrost or consider relocating unit to a warmer location

    6. If the drain pump operates abnormally intermittently when water temperature is high, check the motor revolutions

    7. If the drain pump is faulty, replace it

    8. If the Main PBA relay operates abnormally, replace the PBA
