Inlet Error — dishwasher does not reach normal water level during fill
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: IE
What This Means
Water supply tap is closed; Inlet hose is kinked; Water pressure too low (below 20 psi / 140 kPa) or too high (above 120 psi / 830 kPa); Filter in inlet valve clogged by dirty water; Inlet valve faulty; Wiring connection fault between inlet valve and main PCB; Air breaker impeller stuck; Hall sensor out of spec
How to Fix
- 1
Step 1: Open the water supply tap. Verify water is fully on.
- 2
Step 2: Check inlet hose for kinks; straighten or replace hose.
- 3
Step 3: Measure water pressure at supply — must be 20-80 psi (140-550 kPa). If pressure is outside range call plumber or install pressure-reducing valve.
- 4
Step 4: Close the water tap, unscrew inlet hose at the valve side, and clean the mesh filter screen inside the inlet valve.
- 5
Step 5: Enter LQC test mode (press Power + Start, then press Start 5 times, then press Power). Listen for water supply sound. If frequency does not increase, water is not entering.
- 6
Step 6: Check connector WH6 at main PCB for disconnection or damage; reconnect if needed.
- 7
Step 7: Measure voltage at WH6 pin5~pin6 — should be 8V DC ±15%. If out of range, replace main PCB assembly.
- 8
Step 8: Measure inlet valve resistance — should be 23-27Ω. If out of spec, replace inlet valve.
- 9
Step 9: Check connector NA8 and WH4 at main PCB. Verify air breaker impeller spins freely. If stuck, replace air breaker.
- 10
Step 10: Measure hall sensor resistance at connector NA8 pin1/pin4 — should be 9kΩ ±5%. If out of spec, replace hall sensor.
- 11
Step 11: Measure control voltage at hall sensor connector — should be 5V DC ±15%. If voltage is absent, replace main PCB assembly.
