Error Code tE
Thermal Error — thermistor resistance output abnormal
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: tE
What This Means
Wiring connection fault; Thermistor out of spec or failed
How to Fix
- 1
Step 1: Check connectors RD6 and WH4 at main PCB for disconnection; reconnect if loose.
- 2
Step 2: Measure thermistor resistance — should be 8-44kΩ (resistance decreases as temperature increases). If out of range, replace thermistor.
- 3
Step 3: Measure voltage at RD6 pin3~NA8 pin3 — should be 1-3V DC. If absent or out of range, replace main PCB assembly.
- 4
Step 4: If thermistor and wiring are correct, replace main PCB assembly.
