Error Code IE
Inlet Error — machine does not reach normal water level within fill timeout
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Water supply tap is closed; Wiring connection to inlet valve or hall sensor disconnected; Inlet hose kinked; Water pressure too low (below 10 psi) or too high (above 120 psi); Inlet valve filter clogged with dirty water; Inlet valve faulty (rated resistance 23-27 ohm); Air breaker impeller stuck; Hall sensor faulty (rated resistance 9 kΩ ±5%); Controller (main PCB) damaged
How to Fix
- 1
Check if water supply tap is open; if closed, open it
- 2
Enter LQC mode: press Power + Start, then Start 5 times to check supply sound; press Power to exit
- 3
If water IS supplied but frequency does not increase: check connector NA8 and WHA4 connections to main PCB; if disconnected, reconnect
- 4
Check if impeller of air breaker is spinning properly; if not, replace the air breaker
- 5
Measure hall sensor resistance — should be 9 kΩ ±5%; if out of range, replace hall sensor
- 6
Measure voltage between WH4 pin4 and NA8 pin1 — should be 5V DC ±15%; if out of range, replace main PCB assembly
- 7
If water is NOT supplied: confirm tap is open
- 8
Check connector WH6 to main PCB; if disconnected, reconnect
- 9
Inspect water supply hose for kinks; straighten if kinked
- 10
Verify water pressure is 20-80 psi (140-550 kPa); if out of range, install pressure pump or call plumber
- 11
Close water tap, unscrew inlet hose from valve side, clean filter of inlet valve
- 12
Measure voltage between WH6 pin5 and pin6 — should be 8V DC ±15%; if out of range, replace main PCB
- 13
If inlet valve resistance is out of 23-27 ohm range, replace inlet valve
- 14
If all checks pass, replace hall sensor or main PCB as needed
