Error Code OE
Drain Error — machine does not drain down to normal level within drain timeout
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Filter assembly blocked; Drain hose kinked or blocked; Inner hole of drain case blocked; Air gap clogged; Knockout plug of garbage disposal not removed; Washing motor locked (pump casing failure); Wiring connection disconnected (YL3 connector); Drain motor impeller stuck; Controller (main PCB) damaged
How to Fix
- 1
Check if connector YL3 is connected to main PCB; if disconnected, reconnect wire
- 2
Check if filter assembly is clogged; if yes, clean the filter
- 3
Check if air gap is blocked; if yes, clean the air gap
- 4
Check if knockout plug of garbage disposal has been removed; if not, remove it
- 5
Check if outer drain hose is blocked or frozen; if yes, remove cause of kink or block
- 6
Check if inner hole of drain case is blocked; if yes, repair or replace drain motor
- 7
Measure drain pump resistance — should be 4-5 ohm; if out of range, replace drain pump
- 8
Measure voltage between YL3 pin1~2~3 — should be 12V AC ±15%; if out of range, replace main PCB
- 9
If motor RPM is increasing but drain fails, replace pump casing assembly
- 10
If all checks fail, replace main PCB assembly
