What This Means

Ductwork too long or has too many bends/turns; Significant lint buildup in ductwork; External vent restriction

How to Fix

   Do not use dryer until exhaust is inspected

   Check outside dryer vent hood while dryer is operating for strong airflow

3. 3

   Inspect ductwork for lint buildup; clean thoroughly

   Check for crushed or damaged flexible transition duct and replace if needed

   Reduce duct run length or number of elbows if excessive

6. 6

   Remove any debris blocking vent hood

7. 7

   After cleaning, run AIR DRY cycle and confirm FLOW SENSE indicator remains dark

   If FLOW SENSE LED remains on after cleaning, repair or reroute exhaust system
