How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect power and discharge capacitors by contacting metal plug of power cord to ground line.
- 2
Remove the NA6 connector from the controller.
- 3
Short Pin 2 (Orange Wire) and Pin 5 (Blue Wire) of the NA6 6-pin connector together with a metal jumper.
- 4
Measure resistance of the electrode (electro load) with sensor exposed; expect less than 1 Ω continuity.
- 5
If resistance is above 1 Ω, check electrode and harness connector; check harness linking connector.
- 6
Wet a cloth and contact it to the electrode sensor; during diagnostic test, display value should be in range 50–130 (70%–40% IMC).
- 7
Measure DC voltage between NA6 Pin 2 (Orange) and Pin 5 (Blue) with damp cloth on sensor; expect approximately 2.5V DC for damp-wet condition.
- 8
If voltage and display values are normal, replace the controller.
- 9
If voltage or values are abnormal, replace the electrode sensor and recheck.
