Error Code F1
Sensor Open — Oven thermistor circuit is open
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Broken or disconnected oven sensor wire; Loose connection at sensor connector or CN10 on Main PCB; Failed oven temperature sensor (thermistor)
How to Fix
- 1
Unplug the range.
- 2
Check sensor wire connector at the oven wall and at CN10 (pins 1 and 2) on the Main PCB. Reconnect if loose or disconnected.
- 3
Measure thermistor resistance at CN10 pins 1 and 2. Normal: approximately 0.6–1K ohm at 25°C (77°F). At room temp 70–90°F display should show 70–90 in test mode.
- 4
If resistance is out of range (open/infinite), replace the oven temperature sensor (thermistor).
- 5
If wiring and sensor are good, replace the Main PCB.
