Error Code F10
Door Lock Failure — Door locking motor failed to complete lock or unlock operation
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Loose or disconnected wiring at door locking motor or micro switch; Defective door locking micro switch; Failed door locking motor; Loose CN02 connector on Main PCB; Failed Main PCB (door lock relay)
How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect power.
- 2
Check terminal looseness of micro switch and door locking motor connectors at the latch drive assembly (rear of range). Reconnect if loose — this resolves many F10 errors.
- 3
Test door lock micro switch resistance: Door latch open = continuity (below 2 ohm); Door latch locked = infinite. Micro switch holds position for 13 seconds during lock/unlock. If abnormal, replace micro switch.
- 4
Measure door locking motor resistance: normal approximately 2.6 kohm (flow chart) / 3.9 kohm ±10% (component test). Abnormal: infinite (open) or below 5 ohm (shorted). If abnormal, replace the door locking motor.
- 5
Check CN02 connector on Main PCB for looseness. Reconnect if loose.
- 6
If all above are normal, replace the Main PCB.
