Convection Fan Error — Convection fan operation cannot be detected for over 1 minute when the convection fan should be operating
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F-7
How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect the power.
- 2
Check whether the connection of the convection motor is loose or disconnected. If defective or loose, reconnect or replace harness.
- 3
Check whether the connection of CN4 on the Power PCB and CN1 on the Main PCB is normal. If defective or loose, reconnect or replace harness.
- 4
Measure convection motor resistance: pin 142 = 25.2 Ω ±10%, pin 143 = 30.5 Ω ±10% (at room temperature 77°F/25°C). Abnormal = infinite (open) or below 5 Ω (shorted). If abnormal, replace the convection motor.
- 5
If motor resistance is normal, replace the Main PCB (P/N: EBR32028304).
- 6
If the same fault occurs after replacing the Main PCB, replace the Power PCB (P/N: EBR31737804).
