Error Code F-2
Shorted Sensor — oven thermistor is shorted for over 1 minute during cooking
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Shorted oven temperature sensor (thermistor); Pinched or shorted sensor wiring; Failed Main PCB
How to Fix
- 1
Enter diagnostic mode: press any button with mode knob in Off, press '4' and '6' simultaneously for 1 second
- 2
Unplug unit
- 3
Check sensor wiring connector and CN6 of Main PCB for loose or shorting connections
- 4
Measure thermistor resistance at pins 5 and 6 of CN6 on Main PCB — normal is approximately 1.09 kΩ at 25°C; shorted reads near 0Ω
- 5
If thermistor resistance is near zero (shorted), replace the oven temperature sensor
- 6
If thermistor resistance is normal, replace Main PCB
- 7
If problem persists after Main PCB replacement, replace Relay/Power PCB
