Error Code E CO
Communication error between main MICOM and display MICOM
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: E CO
How to Fix
- 1
Inspect all connectors in the communication path (CON101 hinge connector, CON5) for loose or damaged connections. Reseat all connectors.
- 2
Measure CON101 Pin 18 ~ Pin 16: should be 12 V. If absent, check hinge wiring for loose connection; if hinge is good, replace Main PCB.
- 3
Measure CON101 Pin 10 ~ Pin 16: should be 5 V. If absent, check hinge wiring; if hinge is good, replace Main PCB.
- 4
Measure CON101 Pin 14 ~ Pin 16: should NOT be 0 V or 5 V (it is a data signal). If it IS 0 V or 5 V (stuck), replace Display PCB.
- 5
Measure CON101 Pin 12 ~ Pin 16: should NOT be 0 V or 5 V. If stuck at 0 or 5 V, replace Main PCB.
- 6
Measure CON5 Pin 4 ~ Pin 3: should NOT be 0 or 5 V. If stuck, replace Display PCB.
- 7
Measure CON5 Pin 5 ~ Pin 3: should NOT be 0 or 5 V. If stuck, replace Main PCB.
- 8
If all voltages are correct, explain to customer (intermittent connection issue).
