How to Fix

  1. 1

    Inspect all connectors between the display PCB and the Wi-Fi modem lead wire. Reseat any loose connectors.

  2. 2

    With Wi-Fi function enabled, measure Display PCB output at CON101 Pin 2 ~ Pin 8: should be 5 V. If absent, replace Display PCB.

  3. 3

    Measure CON101 Pin 4 ~ Pin 8: should NOT be 0 or 5 V. If stuck at 0 or 5 V, replace Display PCB.

  4. 4

    Measure Wi-Fi modem PCB output at Pin 5 ~ Pin 6: should NOT be 0 or 5 V. If stuck, replace the Wi-Fi modem PCB.

  5. 5

    If all signals are correct, explain to customer (possible network/router issue).
