Error Code E CL
Low Side Cycle Leakage — Detected by low side refrigerant leak, bad compressor, or long-time door open. Caused when temperature and compressor feedback signals are abnormal.
Moderate

Also displayed as: E CL
How to Fix
- 1
Check for door left open for extended period; advise customer to keep door closed.
- 2
Check for refrigerant leakage using a portable leakage detector at the low pressure (suction) side with compressor stopped.
- 3
Inspect evaporator for frost distribution; uneven or absent frost indicates refrigerant issue.
- 4
Check compressor operation using Test Mode 1.
- 5
Check for water clogging or capillary tube clogging.
- 6
If leak found, discharge R600a refrigerant safely outdoors, repair leak, replace dryer, use LOKRING connectors, pull vacuum for minimum 30 minutes, recharge to nameplate specification (64g ±2g).
- 7
If compressor is suspected bad, check compressor windings and PCB inverter output (normal >60V at CON201).
