How to Fix
- 1
Check fan rotation: observe if condenser fan rotates. If not rotating, proceed to voltage checks.
- 2
Reset unit and enter Test Mode 1 (push test button 1 time).
- 3
Rotate fan blade by hand; if it feels sticky, replace the fan motor.
- 4
Measure fan motor power voltage at CON5 pins 9~12: normal = 10.8~13.2 VDC. If absent, replace Main PCB.
- 5
Measure fan PWM voltage at CON5 pins 9~11: normal = 2~4.5 VDC. If absent, replace Main PCB.
- 6
Measure fan feedback voltage at CON5 pins 9~10: should toggle between 0V and 5V. If not toggling, replace the fan motor.
- 7
If all voltages are correct and motor is not sticky, explain to customer.
