How to Fix

Check CON4 connector (pins 15~16) between Main PCB and refrigerator sensor for loose or disconnected condition.

If connector is loose/disconnected, reconnect or repair the connector.

Measure sensor resistance at CON4 pins 15~16: 0 ohm = short (replace sensor), Open/infinity = open (replace sensor).

Compare measured resistance to temperature chart: -5°C=38k, 0°C=30k, 5°C=24k, 10°C=19.5k, 15°C=16k ohms.

If resistance is normal and matches temperature, explain situation to customer.

If sensor repeatedly fails after replacement, replace the Main PCB.

Water Tank Switch Error — Water tank not assembled correctly or water tank switch error (optional feature)
