Defect of freezer craft ice maker sensor — short-circuit or disconnection of craft ice maker sensor

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Step 1: Check connector between Main PCB and craft ice maker sensor.

  2. 2

    Step 2: Measure sensor resistance. Compare to reference table for current ambient temperature.

  3. 3

    Step 3: If 0 ohm (short), replace sensor.

  4. 4

    Step 4: If OL/infinite (open), replace sensor.

  5. 5

    Step 5: If resistance is correct, replace Main PCB.
