Error Code E PS

PSD (Position Sensor Device) sensor error — malfunction of PSD sensor

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Step 1: Check connector between Sub PCB and PSD sensor for loose or disconnected connection. If loose, reconnect or repair.

  2. 2

    Step 2: Measure voltage at CON2 5th Pin ~ 7th Pin. Expected: 4.75 ~ 5.25V. If NOT within spec, replace Sub PCB.

  3. 3

    Step 3: Measure signal voltage at CON2 6th Pin ~ 7th Pin. Expected: Not 0 or 5V (oscillating signal). If reads 0V or 5V (static), replace PSD sensor.

  4. 4

    Step 4: If both voltages are correct, reconnect or repair connector and retest.
