Sub PCB communication error — communication error between main MICOM and Sub MICOM. Causes: defect of Tx or Rx.

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Step 1: Check all loose connections between Sub PCB and Main PCB.

  2. 2

    Step 2: Measure voltage at Sub CON1 8th Pin ~ 33rd Pin. If reads 0V or 5V (not fluctuating), check Sub PCB connection; if connection OK, change Sub PCB.

  3. 3

    Step 3: Measure voltage at Sub CON1 10th Pin ~ 33rd Pin. If reads 0V or 5V (not fluctuating), check Sub PCB connection; if connection OK, change Sub PCB.

  4. 4

    Step 4: Measure voltage at Main CON3 1st Pin ~ 15th Pin. If reads 0V or 5V (not fluctuating), check display PCB connection and change Display PCB.

  5. 5

    Step 5: Measure voltage at Main CON3 3rd Pin ~ 15th Pin. If reads 0V or 5V (not fluctuating), check display PCB connection and change Display PCB.

  6. 6

    Step 6: If all voltages are correct, explain to customer — Sub PCB communication is normal.
