Error Code PE
Pressure Sensor Error — pressure sensor assembly is out of order; water level frequency consistently below 10 kHz or over 30 kHz.
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Connector to pressure sensor disconnected or disassembled; Pressure sensor resistance out of range (pin 1 to pin 3 should be 21-23 Ω ±10%); Air chamber or tube clogged; Main PWB assembly defective
How to Fix
- 1
Confirm PE ERROR is displayed.
- 2
Check if connector to pressure sensor is disconnected or disassembled. If YES → reconnect or repair the connector.
- 3
If connector is OK → measure resistance of pressure sensor (pin 1 to pin 3). Expected: 21-23 Ω ±10%. If out of range → replace the pressure switch.
- 4
If resistance is OK → check if air chamber and tube are clogged. If YES → fix the air chamber and remove the foreign material.
- 5
If air chamber is clear → replace the MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY.
- 6
Note: PE error will not clear when START/PAUSE is pressed (unlike other errors) — power will turn off after 20 seconds if PE is not resolved.
