What This Means
Main PBA and Sub PBA are not properly connected — no communication between them; Main PBA is defective; Sub PBA is defective; Sub wire harness disconnected or damaged
What actually causes this:
A power surge or loose wire connection disrupted communication between the control boards inside the door
First Thing to Check
Turn off the dishwasher at the circuit breaker, wait 60 seconds, then turn it back on

How to Fix

1. Check the connections for the Sub PBA connector — reconnect the sub wire harness

2. Check the sub wire harness connection between Main PBA and Sub PBA

3. If connections are good, check the DC voltage of the Main PBA — measure voltage between pin 1 (Pink) and pin 3 (Blue) of the main PBA CN6 connector. Normal (Door Close): 0V, Normal (Door Open): 11.4V to 12.6V

4. If connections and voltage are normal, replace the Sub PBA

5. If Sub PBA replacement does not fix it, replace the Main PBA
