What This Means

Thermistor connector is disconnected; Thermistor is shorted or has an open circuit; Thermistor is defective and reading out of range; Wiring harness damage between thermistor and Main PBA; Main PBA defect

What actually causes this:

The temperature sensor wire came loose or the sensor itself went bad

First Thing to Check

Turn off the dishwasher, wait 30 seconds, and restart — if the error persists, it needs service

How to Fix

  1. 1

    1. Check connections for the thermistor connector and reconnect

  2. 2

    2. Measure the voltage between both ends of the thermistor (the RE connector of main PBA). Normal range: 0.06V to 4.8V

  3. 3

    3. Measure the resistance between both ends of the thermistor — disconnect the connector before measuring. Use resistance table for reference values

  4. 4

    4. If thermistor resistance is abnormal, replace the thermistor

  5. 5

    5. If thermistor is normal, replace the Main PBA
