What actually causes this:
The drain pump or drain line is blocked, preventing the dryer from removing collected moisture.
First Thing to Check
Check the water collection tank and empty it if full, then clean the drain filter.

1. Make sure the draining hose is not bent or damaged

2. If the hose is frozen, wrap with a towel soaked in warm water for approximately ten minutes to thaw

3. Empty the water tank, turn on the dryer, and start again
