Oven sensor opened (circuit open)

What This Means

Oven sensor resistance abnormal; Oven sensor not connected properly; Harness disconnected from sensor; Main PCB connector damaged

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Disconnect power and open back cover

  2. 2

    Disconnect sensor from wire harness

  3. 3

    Measure sensor resistance (normal: 22-28 ohms)

  4. 4

    Check broil, bake, and convection heater resistance

  5. 5

    Check DLB, Broil, Bake, and Convection heater relay operation

  6. 6

    Check wiring connections on main PCB

  7. 7

    Check resistance of oven sensor connector on Main PCB (normal: 22-28 ohms)

  8. 8

    Replace oven sensor if abnormal

  9. 9

    Replace main PCB if no problems found elsewhere
