What actually causes this:

Sensor wire came loose or sensor is defective from cold damage

First Thing to Check

Verify the sensor plug is fully connected at the housing

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Measure voltage between Case Connector DC YEL1 #5 and #6

  2. 2

    Voltage should be between 4.5V and 1.0V

  3. 3

    Check sensor housing connection

  4. 4

    Verify no wire cuts or shorts
