Sensor slipped out of housing; Wire cut; Wire short circuit; Sensor reading outside -50°C to +50°C range

What actually causes this:

Sensor wire came loose or sensor failed from vibration

First Thing to Check

Check that the sensor connector is pushed in firmly

How to Fix

    Measure voltage between Case Connector DC YEL2 #16 and #17

  2. 2

    Voltage should be between 4.5V and 1.0V

  3. 3

    Check connector contact quality

  4. 4

    Inspect wires for damage
