What This Means

Sensor housing slipped out; Wire cut or damaged; Wire short circuit; Temperature reading outside -50°C to +50°C range

What actually causes this:

Sensor wiring came loose or sensor has failed internally

First Thing to Check

Look at the freezer temperature sensor connector and make sure the wires are firmly attached

How to Fix

    1. Check voltage between Case Connector DC YEL1 #5 ↔ #6

  2. 2

    2. Voltage should be within 4.5V~1.0V

  3. 3

    3. Inspect sensor housing for displacement

  4. 4

    4. Check wiring for cuts or damage
