Error Code COMP-OVERVOLT
Supply voltage is too high for the compressor to run safely
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: Inverter LED blink: Over Voltage pattern
What This Means
House supply voltage exceeded AC 155V (for 110–127V models) or AC 310V (for 220–240V models); Utility power surge
What actually causes this:
There is a voltage surge or wiring problem sending too much voltage to the refrigerator, which can damage the compressor electronics.
First Thing to Check
Measure the outlet voltage with a meter — if it reads over 130V on a standard US circuit, there is a wiring problem that needs immediate attention.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Measure AC input voltage at the refrigerator outlet
- 2
Error triggers when input is AC 155V or higher (110–127V model)
- 3
If over-voltage is confirmed, contact utility provider
