What This Means

House supply voltage exceeded AC 155V (for 110–127V models) or AC 310V (for 220–240V models); Utility power surge

What actually causes this:

There is a voltage surge or wiring problem sending too much voltage to the refrigerator, which can damage the compressor electronics.

First Thing to Check

Measure the outlet voltage with a meter — if it reads over 130V on a standard US circuit, there is a wiring problem that needs immediate attention.
