What This Means

What actually causes this:

The sensor for the smaller nugget-style ice maker has failed or unplugged, preventing that ice maker from knowing when to harvest.

First Thing to Check

Check the ice maker sensor connector at CN90 and confirm it is firmly seated.

How to Fix

    Check Main PCB connector CN90 for secure connection

  2. 2

    Measure voltage between CN90 PIN 14 and PIN 26; should be 4.5V to 1.0V

  3. 3

    Compare to temperature/voltage table (actual = table value × 2 for 20kΩ sensor)

  4. 4

    Replace sensor if out of range
