What This Means

Bad connector contact at CN31; Sensor unit malfunction; Voltage reading outside 0.6V-4.6V range; Iced solder or bridging on PCB; Defective MICOM input at pin #7

What actually causes this:

Sensor wire disconnected or PCB solder joint cracked from vibration

First Thing to Check

Visually inspect the temperature sensor wire for damage or disconnection

How to Fix

    1. Check MAIN PCB Connector CN31 insertion

  2. 2

    2. Measure voltage between CN31-5 and CN31-6 (should be 0.6V-4.6V)

    3. Verify input voltage at IC01 MICOM pin #7

  4. 4

    4. Inspect solder connections on PCB

  5. 5

    5. Compare measured values to temperature reference table

  6. 6

    6. Check resistance value R309 on MICOM pin #7
