Error Code F
Freezer is not sensing temperature correctly
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: F
What This Means
Bad connector contact at CN31; Sensor unit malfunction; Voltage reading outside 0.6V-4.6V range; Iced solder or bridging on PCB; Defective MICOM input at pin #7
What actually causes this:
Sensor wire disconnected or PCB solder joint cracked from vibration
First Thing to Check
Visually inspect the temperature sensor wire for damage or disconnection
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check MAIN PCB Connector CN31 insertion
- 2
2. Measure voltage between CN31-5 and CN31-6 (should be 0.6V-4.6V)
- 3
3. Verify input voltage at IC01 MICOM pin #7
- 4
4. Inspect solder connections on PCB
- 5
5. Compare measured values to temperature reference table
- 6
6. Check resistance value R309 on MICOM pin #7
