Error Code Ambient
Outdoor temperature sensor is not working properly
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: Ambient
What This Means
Bad connector contact at CN34; Humidity/ambient sensor unit malfunction; Voltage reading outside 0.6V-4.6V range; Iced-solder or solder bridging; Defective MICOM input at pin #12
What actually causes this:
Sensor wire loose or moisture inside sensor connector
First Thing to Check
Check outdoor sensor connector for water or corrosion
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check MAIN PCB Connector CN34 insertion
- 2
2. Measure voltage between CN34-5 and CN34-6 (should be 0.6V-4.6V)
- 3
3. Verify input voltage at IC01 MICOM pin #12
- 4
4. Inspect for iced-solder or solder bridging
- 5
5. Compare measured values to temperature reference table
- 6
6. Check resistance value R348 on MICOM pin #12
