What This Means
Sensor housing separation; Contact error at connector; Sensor wire disconnection; Short circuit in sensor line; Temperature reading above 149°F or below -58°F
What actually causes this:
The sensor gets disconnected or corroded when moisture enters the connection, usually near the machine compartment
First Thing to Check
Look at the ambient sensor behind the refrigerator near the compressor area and ensure its connector is dry and seated

Measure voltage between MAIN PCB CN78-8 and CN78-12

Voltage should be between 4.5V and 1.0V
