What This Means

Sensor housing separation; Contact error at connector; Sensor wire disconnection; Short circuit in sensor line; Temperature reading above 149°F or below -58°F

What actually causes this:

Common failure points are the connector getting wet or the sensor wire being pinched during shelf installation

First Thing to Check

Check if the refrigerator section is too warm and inspect the sensor connector behind the back wall

How to Fix

    Measure voltage between MAIN PCB CN30-6 and CN76-1

  2. 2

    Voltage should be between 4.5V and 1.0V

    Inspect sensor connector for proper seating

    Check sensor wiring for breaks or pinches

  5. 5

    Verify sensor is not separated from mounting
