What This Means
Sensor housing separation; Contact error at connector; Disconnected sensor wiring; Short circuit in sensor line; Temperature reading above 149°F or below -58°F
What actually causes this:
Most commonly caused by moisture damage to the sensor connector or a broken sensor wire near the ice maker
First Thing to Check
Unplug the refrigerator and visually inspect the ice maker sensor and its connector for damage or moisture

Measure voltage between MAIN PCB CN90 #8 and #9

Voltage should be between 4.5V and 1.0V

Check for physical separation of sensor housing
